The packaging is quite unique. It's not the box type like the other Naruko products. It comes in this cylindrical cardboard thingy with plastic covers for the top and bottom part.
I think the packaging looks kinda like medicine cream.
The bb cream comes in a squeeze tube and a long, small opening for easy control over the amount you want to squeeze out. It is similar to the Naruko Narcissus BB Cream.
|description written behind the tube|
The texture and consistency is also very similar to the Naruko Total Defence BB Cream. However, it takes longer time to blend into my skin due to its pale color. It is non-oily and non-sticky, A very light cream that is a dream to blend..
Smells like flowers and natural herbs. Very similar to the Naruko Total Defense BB Cream too.
The biggest difference between Naruko and AMPM BB cream is the color. AMPM BB cream is a very light cream that has pink and grey undertones while the Naruko one is slightly darker with more yellow undertones. Here I have pictures that compares Naruko Total Defense BB Cream side by side with the AMPM one.
AMPM BB Cream has a tad bit more coverage than Naruko BB Cream. If Naruko BB Cream is rated 1/10 coverage, then AMPM BB Cream will rate 2/10. It is very sheer. You can stil see my acne scars and redness at the sides of the nose in this pic..
|wearing ampm bb cream only on a lazy day.. blehhh..|
UNFORTUNATELY, I broke out after the first day I used it. The next day when i didn't use it, my skin calmed down and start to recover again. I gave this a few chances but the it's still the same. I must be allergic or sensitive to some of the ingredients in it. I suspect 'talc' to be the culprit. I'll elaborate more about that in future posts.
Who may like it?
- Those with very fair skin (NC15 to NC20) with fairly good skin that doesn't need much coverage
- Those looking for a very light textured BB cream
Who may dislike it?
- Those with darker skintone
- Those who are sensitive to 'talc'
- Those who need medium to high coverage, this BB cream doesn't do anything except brighten your complexion a little.
Another thing I noticed with this BB Cream is whenever I wear it, I get oilier faster than when I wear the Naruko BB Cream. Just thought I'd mention this in case it matters..
My current favorite BB cream is still the Naruko Narcissus Total Defense BB Cream essence that I reviewed HERE. I'm still very eager to try out more BB creams. What is your favorite BB cream? I would love to know!! ^_^ Please share with me by commenting below.
Love and hugs, Pam. XOXO~
