Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

I was browsing through the drugstore aisle looking for a budget hand cream. I saw the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream and I remembered MUA has quite good reviews on it. It is cheap (like RM11.90?) so I got one to try.

This hand cream is quite different I would say.. IN A GOOD WAY of course.

I got it in the fragrance free version and I like it because there's no scent bothering me like the Gardener's Hand Therapy I reviewed earlier. My hands have to be quite close to customer's face/nose sometimes so I really appreciate it if my hand cream doesn't smell like old lady during the day.

As the packaging has indicated, "just a dab relieves dry, chapped hands". That line is true indeed because I just need a small dab for both my hands.

If I use more than a dab, my hands will be coated white and it will take more time to absorb leaving a more oily residue.

the more i blend it, the whiter it became.. so if i put on too much i'll have white hands -__-
after that, it'll disappear if you continue rubbing it into the skin..

It works really well if I use just a tiny amount. It absorbs nicely leaving my hands slightly sticky (while other hand creams usually feels oily/emollient) for the first few minutes. The stickiness is very minimal so it doesn't bother me or prevent me from doing anything. I still can use my phone's touch screen and do stuff normally. After it is fully absorbed, my hands feel soft and hydrated. I use it after I wash my hands and it seals in moisture really well. I'm not sure about the 17 hour moisturization claim but it lasted me through 2-3 hand washes which kinda surprises my as most hand creams doesn't hold up that long. Really not bad for it's price!

I use this hand cream 2 ways. During the day, I'll use a dab each time I have to use it. At night, I'll use more to give my hands sort of a treatment, then wear gloves to sleep. I'll wake up with softer hands in the morning each time I do this.
